Pickeld cucumbers with rakia


Great bulgarian recipe with rakia for pickled cucumbers appetizer.The recipe is very simple and easy.Use 3 litres jar for cucumbers.For the marinade use 500 ml vinegar,50 ml rakia,1 l water,300 gr salt,fennel and quince leafs.

Fill up the jar with cucumbers and leafs.For marinade mix the water,salt and vinegar and boil until the mixture starts rolling boil,then pour it in the jar when it`s still hot.When the jar is cold pour 50 ml rakia,shake well and cap the jar.Store in a cold place.This recipe is perfect appetizer for rakia.
